All right. Time to hit the weights to make sure she could still heft this four-foot sword with one hand. Severa let out a rare smile in the mirror at her own appearance, all gym-clothes-ed up, and headed out of the locker room to the floor. Trailblazer or not, she had to keep a regular workout schedule to make sure she was still in top fighting shape, especially because she didn't have any powers to help her along like some others she knew.
What was her schedule like today, anyway? Right, okay. Upper body, then a break, then half her regular leg day stuff because she'd pushed herself pretty hard there earlier in the week. Hopefully nobody would bother her while she was trying to get some actual work done. At least she wasn't popular or noteworthy enough to get recognized yet. Probably.
b.
Crap. Severa played by the rules whenever she could, but she did have a tendency of playing rough with the rules. So to hear that the Trailblazers had protocols that were actually meant to be followed, instead of just guidelines, left her pretty disheartened. Not that she was showing it; moving in was her biggest priority right now anyway. But come on, she was a descendant of Scáthach, how much supervision did she need? Ugh.
Her sword, still in its scabbard, fell to the floor from being propped up on the wall. She hadn't gotten its mount out yet, and four feet of metal made a lot of noise. Double crap. She hadn't planned on meeting any more of the Trailblazers today, but with her luck so far today, she'd probably have the whole floor come running. She'd tend to the claymore in time. Better get everything else settled first, or she'd risk the same thing happening again.
TAKE A THIRD OPTION
[you know, just whatever, i'll figure out a way to get her there]
