Lina's been on "sabbatical" from Alpha Force for the last few years, but after a whole bunch of travel, adventures, and a few arcane quests, she's finally made it back to L.A., her sort-of-home base! Man, Alpha Force has probably TOTALLY missed her. What are they supposed to do without their resident sorcery genius, of course? Well...sorcery genius besides the Scarlet Witch, whatever. Is she still hanging around? Probably. (mouth fart noise)
a. Rather than telling anyone she's back ahead of time like a sensible person would do, Lina pretty much just shows up at the Alpha Force tower and starts raiding the fridge in the common area. Alpha Force members who have worked with her before will probably found it difficult to have forgotten her so soon; new members might know her from CONDOR records as well as the news, neither of which remembers her very favorably despite having done her fair share of heroic deeds. But Lina knows where she's needed most! And right now, that's right on the couch in Alpha Force tower with the TV remote in one hand and a very old magical tome in her lap, and literal mountains of snacks stacked around her.
b. What's the first thing a newly-returned superhero does upon arrival back in her (sort of) home turf? Well, a proper soar above the city, of course. But after that...well, all that flying gives a girl an appetite, so her favorite lunch place is next on the list. Unfortunately on her way there, she encounters an attempted bank robbery by a bunch of D-list mooks. Can't let them get away with that, can she? Lina sets right about clearing them out, mostly with gratuitous explosions -- it's not immediately clear whether she's beating up the would-be bank robbers or trying to level the bank itself. Ah, you make an omelet, you've gotta break a few eggs...
