Frustrated, 'differently-moral' alien necromancer scientist on the wrong side of a transdimensional portal. Don't get into an argument with your krewe leader about the validity of your transdimensional gate coordinates and insist on going through it yourself. If you do so, please leave your horrible undead minions at home. Misunderstandings may be made.
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: You may have seen the video of Nivata's first encounter with CONDOR, which may/may not be up on Youtube. It has definitely made the rounds of the LA superhero community, who do not remember Nivata with fondness.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: You may have BEEN one of those superheroes! Several of them were sent to the hospital. She has also become part of the Enclave, and a thorn in Plaid Jack's side. <3 Her approach to magic is scientific and inclusive; the idea that scientists on Earth don't use magic in their research, and don't research magic as a general rule, is incomprehensible to her.
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: Nivata is here to troll around being intellectually superior, in true asura fashion. She will readily tell you that you are an idiot as well! She could also use more Science Friends, and industry connections, because money has to come from somewhere. Also if you're CONDOR she kind of hates you a little? GIVE HER BACK HER STUFF, JERKS.
Someone attempting to recruit her for TRIDENT might be nice. She certainly looks amoral enough for it at first glance!

AMATERASU, alias AMMY
The goddess Amaterasu is undercover as a lesser sun spirit who looks like a wolf! It's way cool-looking if you have spiritual sight. If not, she's like Superdog, but fluffy. :D giev chikin nuggets plz
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: The goddess Amaterasu is the goddess Amaterasu. She hangs out in the Celestial Plains (Takamagahara) and rules over them; it's pretty cool. Recently they had a bad demon problem, though! You may know this if you're into the magical/spiritual gossip machine. Before then, they had crash-landed refugees from another dimension! (The demons were after them.) A happening place, Takamagahara is. But Amaterasu is definitely up there, running things, and totally not on Earth or anything.
Ammy, is a lot more straightforward. She runs around, does useful helpful things, and occasionally gets people to pet her ears. You may be able to see her cool spiritual swag, or you may just see a magic doggie.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: You sort of have to be a mover and shaker to get an audience with Amaterasu, but Ammy is a lot more approachable. She will, in fact, approach YOU.
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: Sometime, there will be a demon invasion from the sea, possibly aided and abetted by TRIDENT. I am actively looking for more people to see her true form! Spiritual senses, gooooo. :D THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: Romance will be conducted with the goddess, not the wolf, plz k thnx. (Ammy does give kisses, though.)

Hmm, no specific scenario comes to mind. I haven't gotten around to making a Plurk yet, but I've been checking on here for updates daily anyway, so it should work out!

METABEE: Bronze Beetle
A prototype weapon designed by the Medabot Corporation and under CONDOR supervision, Metabee is a small robot specializing in mid-long range combat and is armed with lasers and missiles. He is pretty stubborn and hot headed, has problems with authority, and thinks he is the greatest invention since sliced bread. He is a huge dork.
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: You are a member of the Trailblazers, an agent of CONDOR (especially in R&D stuff), an employee of the Medabots Corporation, or anyone who has connections to the super high tech scientific community. He hasn't been in the superhero circuit long so he doesn't have much notoriety as far as the media is concerned, but is getting more attention since joining up with the Trailblazers, especially having taken part in the recent TRIDENT raid.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: You are with the Trailblazers, are one of the CONDOR liaisons with the team, or CONDOR scientists related to the Medabot Project. Any scientists who worked on the project and fellow Medabots would know him really well.
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: Right now I'm hoping to get him involved with CR other than the Trailblazers, but that's going pretty slow. Maybe more interaction with CONDOR guys?
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: Nothing I can think of
ANYTHING ELSE: Metabee spends 90% of his down time right now failing at videogames and annoying his teammates.

TRON "LIGHTLINE"
A cynical, serious, living computer program who is now an active member of the Alpha Force. Hobbies include teaching teen heroes not to die and leading rebellions against corrupt authoritarian powers.
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: You follow any major superhero news, Lightline has been an active member of the Alpha Force for years so he's got a pretty solid following. If you follow obscure technical news you may have some knowledge of The Grid but Tron has done a pretty good job keeping that under wraps aside from the fact that it exists.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: You are in Alpha Force, are a CONDOR agent who works closely with superheroes, you are another A-List hero in LA. Tron likes to mentor young heroes so if you are a Trailblazer you have probably met him occasionally, and any vigilantes may have been approached by him in the past.
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: Really just getting more interactions for this guy is my main priority right now.
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID:Nothing that I can think of.

EUSINE/THE MYSTICALMAN
Eusine (as he likes to be called) is an French illusionist-slash-wizard with an ego the size of a small planetoid despite having powers that can be summarized as "can make your glassware fall over and also sparkles a lot". His greatest dream is teaming up with MAGICAL CREATURES OF WONDER (especially unicorns, as he considers them to be the best mythical creatures EVER) in order to STRIKE DOWN EVIL, because he failed a self-awareness check and thinks he's a ~dashing protagonist~ instead of the butt monkey secondary character he really is.
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: you ever saw a "top ten most ridiculous superhero outfits" list, probably. Or if you heard about that one fruity superhero dude who stopped a few muggings recently. Or if you saw his shitty artwork/fic on badfic tumblrs because THAT'S TOTALLY A THING.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: you also punch small-time bad guys in the face, if you frequent forums about magical creatures, if you enjoy close-up magic and happened to watch whatever gig he has at the moment, if you participate in that DnD thing that's going to happen at some point... Or maybe if you're just a tool magnet. He's a pretty big tool.
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: Just gonna keep on being outrageously fabulous, that's it that's the plan. ... Hey, no one said it had to be a GOOD plan.
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: I was gonna say "idk" but then I realized I do want to avoid one thing and that's Eusine actually getting what he wants the way he wants it [laugh track]
ANYTHING ELSE: don't let his attempts at being cool and suave fool you, he is actually a Big Nerd.

Rikki Barnes
Nonpowered former sidekick of the now-deceased Captain Victory, related to several high-level CONDOR agents and trained by the best. She is a tiny ninja with some cool government-funded gadgets. Currently a new member of the Trailblazers, and kind of questioning her life choices tbh.

YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: If you're in CONDOR, you have probably at least heard of her grandparents, who were high-level SHIELD agents for many years (they are retired now), and her Aunt Sharon Carter is a current agent. She's not very well-known as a hero, because lol, no one cares about the East Coast heroes, but Captain Victory and his sidekick are relatively well-known in and around the New York area, so if your character lived there at any point in the last four years...
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: She trained with CONDOR, and still occasionally does, so your character may have met or trained her at some point. Totally up for any past run-ins with her and/or Captain Victory if your character was ever on the East Coast (Cap was part of a team I still haven't found a name for, so if you have an older hero they could have been on the same team and would have seen Rikki regularly?).
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: Rikki's still settling into the Trailblazers - if you haven't met her yet, you should, and if you have met her, they should do something together. Training, patrol, punching people, whatever. I would also like to get her some CONDOR contacts, since she's used to working with them.
She is super pro-registration and super into following rules (except for the minor ones, on occasion), sure of the line between good guys and bad guys, and really really careful about not doing more damage than she has to and doing the right thing and etc. etc. and I'd kind of like to shake her up a little; she's been pretty sheltered, so far, working with Cap where everything tended to be pretty black and white. I have an idea for a long-running plot that a bunch of people could get involved in that has to do with recent events in her life, but it's going to take some set-up and I'm not ready for it yet; BUT if you might be up for helping Rikki investigate bad guys and get revenge (and probably get the crap kicked out of her several times) in the future, let me know!
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: Nothing I can think of atm.
ANYTHING ELSE: She's still angry and sad about Cap and trying to hide it, which is leading to a lot of her being angry at random people who don't really deserve it. ESPECIALLY THE TRAILBLAZERS UGH WE ARE PROFESSIONAL SUPERHEROES CAN WE ACT LIKE IT AND NOT GET PWNED BY TWO FOOTBALL-SIZED CRYSTAL-MONSTERS? (I sincerely apologize to everyone she's snapping at.)

ARAÑA/THE HUNTER/AÑA CORAZON
Aña is an 18-year-old with spider-based powers (and a creepy insectoid/arachnoid magical exoskeleton that she can summon) from New York. Specifically Brooklyn by way of Mexico City by way of Puerto Rico (probably San Juan). She got her powers when she was 14, when she almost died from a fatal stab wound trying to protect some guy she'd never met. Thankfully, said guy was looking for her because of secret societies and magic stuff, so he managed to save her life by giving her the powers of the Spider Society's Hunter. She did that four years. Her mom was murdered when she was six, her dad was murdered about a year ago, and her partner (Miguel, the guy she saved) was killed a couple of months ago. She skipped out of New York to get some space to process it all. She speaks fluent English and fluent Spanish, and is currently squatting in an abandoned warehouse with Tommy Shepherd. She still patrols and stops muggings and stuff, but she is unregistered.

YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: Aña is around The Watch a bit, under the handle The Hunter - she mostly lurks, though. Anyone with any significant connection to the east coast, specifically New York, may have heard rumors of some sort of vigilante-type character called The Hunter. (She was really called Araña, but she didn't really advertise the "code name" that was really more her name than anything at that point). Anyone who knows a lot about/has access to detailed information about ancient mystical secret societies could have heard of the Spider Society and the Sisterhood of Wasps and might know of a line of magically-affected warriors they have (only one at a time) called The Hunter.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: You've been mugged in the past month or so, or noticed her post on The Watch looking for suggestions on getting work off-the-books.
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: I'm mostly playing fast and loose with her for the moment. She's going to end up befriending/being befriended by Nomad, who's on the Trailblazers team, but she's not planning to register at any point in the near future. I really would like her to have more friends, especially friends that she doesn't do anything hero-ish with, because she really hasn't had much of a non-work social life the past four years and it shows sometimes. Also I'd really like her to find someone a little older, who can... not mentor her, precisely, but be someone she can open up to, as she's lost both of the people she used to confide in, within the last year.
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: Nothing, really! Give her a nemesis, get her in trouble with the law, I'm open to ideas!
ANYTHING ELSE: ...She misses Manhattan because web-slinging through downtown LA is a lot harder. She must rely almost entirely on parkour.

Rikki is pretty much on Katniss's shitlist now because of the football crystal monsters thing. Especially since Rikki just got there and hasn't really don't anything to warrant her being an asshole about it in her opinion, god. :\

Sollux would be a good potential non-superheroing friend (we can see how that thread goes) and it seems like there would be a good opportunity for her and Jack to be buds in a confidante sense. He is pretty sen and it looks like they are going to get the opportunity to hang out.
