what sort of magic research does Wanda do? because Miriel would have certainly read any research Wanda published, no matter which specific type of magic it was, but if you are amenable to it maybe they could have COLLABORATED on some COOL MAGICAL RESEARCH if their areas of magical interest lined up at any point

(Miriel typically studies transformative and molecular magics but a lot of stuff falls into those categories)

hmmm well Wanda probably wouldn't feel like she was enough of a scientist or a scholar to publish an actual paper, she actually only has like... maybe the equivalent of an 8th grade education? they tried to catch her up in trailblazers but as a kid she went to a one room schoolhouse in a tiny village in not-romania, which she left when she was like 12.

but she would DEFINITELY collaborate on something! she studies mostly stuff related to chaos magic, reality warping, and summoning dark forces, but she knows a smattering about all kinds of stuff and she loves learning, so she could really do any area as long as she got a chance to study up before hand.

ohh alrighty, gotcha! Miriel is interested in just about everything so she could have heard about Wanda's magic interests through the Enclave grapevine and approached her to do some Collaborative Magic Experiment or something. i don't think it really matters too much what it would be but it does give them some prior interaction (which i would imagine to be fairly positive? Miriel's kind of Professional about relationships but not unfriendly)

PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: FIRST THINGS FIRST Lyra is planning on crashing at the Enclave headquarters, largely because the British branch lets her do whatever she wants and so she assumes the American version will too. SECONDLY she will be working the boardwalks of the beach towns, reading cards and i ching as LADY SILVERTONGUE, vagabond heir to a lost fortune, in a lot of scarves and jewelry. THIRDLY she will offer to assist any superheroes with finding or fighting evil. FOURTHLY she is prone to wandering around and talking to strangers.
