Megatron is a 16 foot tall robot gladiator with a gun the size of a man mounted on his arm and a really short temper. He started out as the leader of a rebellion against an oppressive social order, but in the thousand years since then his priorities have shifted fairly significantly and these days he mostly only cares about conquering things, claiming power for himself, and destroying his enemies, although interacting with Orion Pax has been causing him some uncomfortable doubt about this. It is making him really angry. He came to Earth because a robot macguffin that he wants is here. He is currently operating out of a crashed spaceship in the desert with a bunch of inept underlings.
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: You're familiar with the Cybertronian civil war – his name is sort of synonymous with the Decepticon cause for obvious reasons. Autobot/Decepticon business has yet to become common knowledge on Earth, but Cybertronians and their ridiculous civil war are regarded throughout the galaxy with a sort of weary eye-rolling disdain by other spacefaring races. (Not that you'd want to exhibit that weary eye-rolling disdain if you were stuck in a room with Megatron.) YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: Like the above but under what circumstances a person might have actually spoken to them. PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: Once his initial plan fails and Optimus Prime has his memories back, my main goal for Megatron and the Decepticons is for them to just start falling back on ridiculous supervillain bullshit. Do you have a cool, recently developed and potentially dangerous science device? Megatron wants to steal it Someone's probably going to find the desert spaceship at some point, too, at which point I'm fully willing to have them relocate to the literal ocean to continue carrying out their dastardly plans THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: Obviously Megatron isn't the kind of character for whom casual CR is really practical unless you're actually directly working for him, so plans with him are pretty limited to i) DO YOU WANT TO FIGHT MEGATRON ii) DO YOU WANT MEGATRON TO KIDNAP YOU AND/OR YOUR SCIENCE PROJECT FOR SOME PROBABLY KIND OF CONTRIVED REASON iii) DO YOU WANT TO BAD GUY TEAM UP WITH THE DECEPTICONS ANYTHING ELSE: im excited for the dance club
