CHARACTER NAME/ALIAS IF APPLICABLE Jean-Michel Delorme/Patina
Jean-Michel is a competitive figure skater and a youthful hero! He is also a relatively recent (within the past year) transplant from the frozen wastes of central Canada, so not very plugged in to the LA Social Scene, as it were.
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: As a hero, he's done some mid-profile work. He's not a big name but if someone pays attention to the antics of Teen Heroes he's probably known to them, especially since (~~gossip alert~~) he was until recently in a relationship with another Dreamy Teen Hero Lad (which one? IT COULD BE YOU). As a skater, only if you pay weird obsessive attention to Junior-level competitive skating for countries not your own. Which I do, but I'm not normal.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: If you are a TEEN HERO! He's a friendly guy. He likes friends. Alternatively, if you are the sort of person who hangs out at ice rinks. Not necessarily a figure skater yourself, but possibly a Hockey or just someone who likes skating recreationally.
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: Jean-Michel needs an ex! Who he broke up with because while out of costume he has to stay closeted (figure skating is actually pretty conservative gender-norms wise? An out figure skater who doesn't already have a well-established career certainly isn't going to GET one). So if you're playing a queer dude in his late teens, consider that possibility. Other than that I'm looking for general CR and in particular someone to help JM learn his way around, both literally in terms of the city's geography and more metaphorically, in terms of helping him get used to the whole Heroing Business.

He's also gonna be really strenuously opposed to his civilian identity being linked to his hero one, again because as a hero he feels he can be out and open about being gay and as a civilian he can't. So if you're the sort of person who likes UNMASKING HEROES...
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: ennnhhh i dunno. I will inform people if/when something becomes an issue, but there's nothing unilaterally off the table.
ANYTHING ELSE: It's okay if you know jack shit about figure skating. I will teach you anything necessary. I will teach you far more than is necessary. I cannot be stopped.
