Rex's eyes widened in surprise as the fire bolt grazed one of his gauntlets and leapt back with a yelp, shaking his hand quickly to try and cool the metal. Sheesh, and Providence gave him a hard time about not paying attention. Figuring there was no point in arguing without getting hit by another wayward fire blast, Rex built out his jetpack, flying the perimeter of the fight where the guys in question had been scampering off.
