TERRANCE WARD/TRAUMA
Unreasonably young therapist with fear powers and a semi-permanent lineface. He focuses mostly on young adults & teens with powers. Spent 3 years in a teen soldier factory called the Initiative.

YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: If you heard about CONDOR's raid of the Initiative half a year ago and paid super close attention to the people they rescued, you might've seen his name or picture on the list. Or maybe if you heard about some kid flipping out in a school in Pittsfield 4 years ago and using his fear powers in an argument. That's... about it.

YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: You're a member of CONDOR or the West Coast Trailblazers, there's every chance you've seen him around. If you've been seeing a new therapist over the last couple of months it could be him. If you were a member of the Initiative, he was one of the first recruits and was there until it got shut down.

PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: I'd be interested in someone helping him figure out the source of his powers - or at the very least that they're magic-based since he has no idea what the deal is with those. Also friends are a thing a character like him could super use, he's pretty reserved but also a huge giant nerd.

THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: I can't think of anything
ANYTHING ELSE: He will mother-hen the fuck out of every friend, I'm not exaggerating. Even if they're 20 years older than him he will bring them soup and ask if they remembered to eat breakfast.

i think first meetings would be fun. it honestly doesn't matter much to me since whatever inspires maxxie to want to Get On That can happen during their first meeting or later

i don't have enough headcanon for what they initially bond over but it's definitely something nerdy

omfg i would love to get cr with terry, he's one of my favorite marvel dudes ever (BBB i come bearing a chick that spends most of her time in the rougher areas of LA/sometimes on the streets, and i'm not sure how they'd meet... but she is always on the lookout for other people with powers, so maybe something related to that?? she's also assholeish, playful, and purposefully abrasive and obnoxious, so i'm sure they'd just get along swimmingly
