TEST DRIVE MEME #1

No gimmicky dinosaur setup this time round, since the game is actually rolling now! If you've got a character you want to try out in this setting, make a thread with them on here, and if you don't, see if you can tag other people with your characters.
Test drive threads can be anything you like, in-person or online, just make it clear which one your thread is when you start it. Make sure to put the name of the character and what canon they're from in the subject, so people know who they are and where they come from.
Can I use test drive threads as samples for my app?
Indeed you may, fair stranger
Can I decide a test drive thread is game canon?
Heck yeah you can, provided the person you threaded it with is cool with that too!

Rex can barely keep his grip as Grimlock starts shaking his head around, and his arms as aching as he keeps flopping against Grimlock's metal plating. He doesn't even notice the tree until he is crashing into it. The damaged builds on his arms finally fracture, leaving him tumbling through the air before landing on the ground. Hard.
He gets up with a groan, wincing as he turns back to face Grimlock. So maybe fighting this thing wasn't going to be as easy as he thought. He builds out his jetpack again, taking to the air to try and maintain the higher ground, so to speak.
"Alright, big guy, if you're not going to go down, maybe I can shut you down." If he could get in close enough to touch this guy, his nanites might be able to override the robot to shut down, though with something this size there was the possibility it wouldn't work. And he'd have to get near with out being swatted out of the air or burned to a crisp.

Come on Come on Come on. WORK. Something was blocking him from getting complete control, but maybe he could at least get him to stop rampaging. Rex changed the command, completely focused on getting something through before he got thrown off again. At least he was pretty sure the dinobot couldn't take a bite out of him from here.

He crashes to the forest floor, belly down, and whines miserably, suddenly exhausted. "What flying boy do to me Grimlock? Flying boy not fight fair!!"

He gives a small sigh of relief, walking across Grimlock's back to slid onto the ground. He walked around to Grimlock's head, giving the robot a hesitant but friendly pat.
"It's ok, big guy, you'll be fine," he says reassuringly, trying to hide the twinge of uncertainty, and after a pause, "Besides it wasn't really a fair fight to begin with, you're, like, three times taller than me."
