TEST DRIVE MEME #1

No gimmicky dinosaur setup this time round, since the game is actually rolling now! If you've got a character you want to try out in this setting, make a thread with them on here, and if you don't, see if you can tag other people with your characters.
Test drive threads can be anything you like, in-person or online, just make it clear which one your thread is when you start it. Make sure to put the name of the character and what canon they're from in the subject, so people know who they are and where they come from.
Can I use test drive threads as samples for my app?
Indeed you may, fair stranger
Can I decide a test drive thread is game canon?
Heck yeah you can, provided the person you threaded it with is cool with that too!
B-b-b-b-b
Huh.
Ravirn promptly threads his way closer, eyes wide behind his sunglasses as he catches sight of what is definitely some high-level magic. He's still not used to sorcerers acting out in the open here, and that is some serious power the - woman? - is wielding. All that damage, chaos, and seriously. Wow.
So, of course, his first impulse is to wait until she starts casting again- and then to start whistling, throwing his own magic behind it as he tries to tweak the spell. More for the sake of seeing if he can, as opposed to any real attempt to temper the damage, but, hey.
If anyone asks that's clearly what he was trying to do.

She whirls around in midair, eyes narrowed. One of the robbers? Nah, they're just a bunch of D-list losers. None of them have that kind of power. No, this has to be someone else...and hey, look who's not running away from the fray. Lina's not stupid, and she's zeroing in on you, kid.
"Hey! What the hell are you doing? Cut it out!"

This does, of course, make it all but impossible to point at someone else when she stares right at him.
And despite Raven's urge for fun- Ravirn bristles at that, because that? Was not all his fault, and being blamed is never fun. So there's a bit of bite in his not-quite-teasing response;
"I take it we're not caring about damage control, huh?"

nicelady down, maybe apologize-"How about I demonstrate?"
-instead he whistles a quick series of notes again, suggesting Lina's spell of levitation should, ah, adjust its height value. By a lot.
