PRE-APPLICATION DISCUSSION POST!

Hey guys! I had some requests for a discussion post where people can shoot the shit about potential backstory and power ideas, so here it is!

For best results, make sure to check out the FAQ and other setting information for inspiration, such as superhero registration and power levels, as well as taking at peek at the game wiki to see what's already been started!

POST RULES:

Feel free to discuss any facet of the setting you like, and how they relate to your character ideas!

Please keep in mind though, that nothing can be set in stone until the related apps are accepted. Try to not rely completely on everything on this board being apped successfully.

If you would like to know whether something sounds good to the mods, just flag us down by giving a shout in the subject line or by pinging us on plurk! We'll hit you up as soon as we can.

I already shared this but I'm sure that Sollux will start prowling around the net as soon as he has the chance to figure out code. And given that it's code, he will probably figure that out before he figures out English.

yesss. I'm hecka excited for Kit and Sollux CR, positive or negative I don't even care.

I don't know if Sollux would be able to... discern this bc it's Technopath Stuff, but Kit has her braintendrils curled around various corners of the internet, there are definitely traces of her ~~cyber-essence~ or whatever to be found. I guess this is mostly only relevant to technopaths, but maybe telepaths/empaths/whatever would pick it up too? WHO KNOWS.

He'd probably be able to sense it if he hooked his brain into the internet, which he technically could do now because of the implants, but he's never really done that before.

okay, cool. but yeah Kit keeps PRETTY CLOSE TABS on her TURF, so she would for sure notice Sollux skulking around in there, and probably contact him. maybe even seek him out in person if he doesn't respond, although that... would probably not go beyond stalking
