Dirk Strider, aka Timaeus
15 year old vigilante who grew up in the far future, alone except for his robotic creations, a tiny horse, and a puppet. His timeline was the victim of an alien invasion that wiped out most of humanity, but aside from that, Dirk doesn't know much about what happened. He eventually built a time machine to send himself back to the 21st century, because being the only person (you know of) alive on Earth really sucks.

YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: He's a small-time vigilante who focuses on small crime, so he's not exactly famous, but you may have heard of Timaeus in that context. He's also recently started attending a local high school, where he's gained a reputation as that weird kid who's always getting in trouble for stuff like arguing with teachers, climbing onto rooftops, and setting fireworks off on school grounds. He roams the internet under the alias timaeusTestified. Online, he posts music he mixed himself, and participates in all sorts of discussions on pop culture and politics. He's also involved in a few fandoms, his contributions to which are in the form of either deeply analytical meta posts that sometimes get (pretentiously) academic, or bizarre porn.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: You've run into him during superhero time, or you attend his high school. If you're friendly enough to talk to him (and he's not busy being a superhero) he'll probably be willing to hang out with you, provided he doesn't scare you away, especially if you share any of the interests mentioned on his wiki page.
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: He's eventually going to go to Houston to look for his "brother", a (he believes) distant ancestor of his who was alive in this time. This is in part to find out what he knows about the alien takeover that happened in Dirk's timeline and how to stop it. I'm also very interested in having AR, an AI Dirk built based on his own mind, interact with other AIs/robots, and also anyone with an interest in computers, hacking, and/or programming.
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: Nothing I can think of at the moment. You're free to have your character try and initiate some sort of romantic relationship but Dirk will almost certainly reject it. Rivalries and friendships are welcome. Ask me before there are any physical fights or things like torture or mind control (I'll probably say yes but I like to be prepared).
ANYTHING ELSE: His AI-brain-clone gets up to all sorts of mischief, and has probably crossed paths with other AIs and hackers. His robot Sawtooth wanders around the world where he pleases, and challenges people to rap battles, so if your character is a rapper they might have had a showdown or two ;)

Sarcastic murder robot with a fondness for deadly neurotoxin.

YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: You're somehow really involved in cutting edge AI development - GLaDOS has actively been keeping her existence a secret ever since the whole "flooding Aperture with neurotoxin" incident (which she is also keeping secret). News of her development before that point may have circulated, considering how much Aperture loves to brag, but there's conspicuous holes in all the information after 1998.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER (sort of) IF: You dwell in any capacity on the internet. GLaDOS's current strategy for gathering test subjects is "become the most effective internet predator ever", and she's got accounts on all the major social media sites, plus some minor ones, and even on a few MMORPGs. Her standby alter ego is a robotics grad student at the University of Michigan, and she usually hovers around those kinds of social circles.
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: I kind of want her to get at least a couple good acquaintances in before engaging in any large-scale villainy (both genuine Business Partner types and through her fake accounts), and I've got vague caroline plans, but I haven't really thought much farther than that.
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: nnnnothing off the top of my head.
ANYTHING ELSE: she enjoys her MMO accounts way more than she'll ever admit, and takes them about as seriously B)

Alternian refugee. Bubbly, cheerful, deadly. Hiding the fact she's technically heir to the Alternian Empire, if only she can survive long enough to kill the current incumbent.

YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: You follow what TRIDENT are up to; she's been ruining some of their Pacific Ocean bases on and off for the last year. Alternatively, if you're Alternian or pay attention to Alternian internal affairs.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: You've ever been rescued from a TRIDENT base in the last year. Otherwise, she's been pretty non-communicative. Unless you're from Alternia proper, again.
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: She's mostly just trying to stay alive and unincarcerated right now. She's got huge amounts of dislike for TRIDENT, though, so she'll be after them for a bit, and one day she might even have enough power/allies/lack of caring about her own survival to go home and take over. Probably never in game time, but she doesn't know that so friends and allies are always helpful.
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: Nothing particularly, I guess.
ANYTHING ELSE: Feferi likes to help, if people ask. Also, she's being very bad at being undercover. There's just not that many ways to hide the fact she's a sea-dwelling troll with those horns, you know?

ROBIN "SPECTRUM" MALINDE
Super smart tactician and all around hero person who was supposed to become a big evil dragon until her mom went NOPE and took her away to somewhere with sane(r) people. She's the strategist and de facto second-in-command of the Shepherds, a heroic organization. She tends to alternate between 'straight man' and 'total goof' and is a wholehearted believer in The Power of Friendship.
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: You pay much attention to news about superheroes... or just news in general. The Shepherds have been garnering an increasing amount of attention as of late, and she's an important figure in the group.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: You've been an active hero in the last two or so years; she's big on teamwork, so it's not at all unlikely for you to have teamed up with her once or twice. She's very good at striking up friendships with people, and fighting side by side is in her experience a good place to start! Of course, if you're a fellow Shepherd chances are she considers you a dear friend already. Or who knows, maybe you met during some completely mundane activity and hit it off?
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: Right now I'm content with building her relationships, 'cause that's what she's all about. Sooner or later, though, someone's going to have to find out about her connection to Grima... and I imagine there's a few people who won't be so happy to have the second coming of dragon Satan running around LA.
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: Nothing off the top of my head!
ANYTHING ELSE: She doesn't make much of an effort to maintain her "secret identity" around most people; it mainly exists to help avoid giving her location away to the Grimleal.

TRON "LIGHTLINE"
A cynical, serious, living computer program who is now an active member of the Alpha Force. Hobbies include teaching teen heroes not to die and leading rebellions against corrupt authoritarian powers.
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: You follow any major superhero news, Lightline has been an active member of the Alpha Force for years so he's got a pretty solid following. If you follow obscure technical news you may have some knowledge of The Grid but Tron has done a pretty good job keeping that under wraps aside from the fact that it exists.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: You are in Alpha Force, are a CONDOR agent who works closely with superheroes, you are another A-List hero in LA. Tron likes to mentor young heroes so if you are a Trailblazer you have probably met him occasionally, and any vigilantes may have been approached by him in the past.
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: Nothing in particular, really.
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID:Not that I can think of.
ANYTHING ELSE: Tron probably has a civilian alias for wandering around LA but I'm still working out the details on that. Despite being a living program he has pretty average tech skills, but he is much more programming/hacker savvy from within The Grid.

Three feet of big-headed, big-eared gray alien. CONDOR problem and UCLA student. Necromancer. (It's legal where she comes from, okay.) Magitechnician and actual genius. She probably hates you.
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: Her 'arrival' was very possibly in the news, albeit in heavily edited form!
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: It took several heroes to put Nivata down for the count when she first arrived, and she sent a couple of them to the hospital. WERE THEY YOU? She also got 'interviewed' by CONDOR and the Enclave and probably other people I can't think of right now. Alpha Force?
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: Nivata would like friends, but will accept enemies. I would like her to be - however reluctantly - involved in the "techie" quadrant of Capital H. (Sometimes she patents and sells little bits of asura technology to pay the bills.) Anybody near UCLA is also invited to know her. TRIDENT may well be or become interested in her as well, because that's the kind of horrible person I am!
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: I'm pretty good to go. I doubt romance will be an issue, just because cranky asura, but I'm not diametrically opposed to it.
ANYTHING ELSE: If it comes up, PLEASE let me know what level of grossness you are uncomfortable reading. I can mark it in any logs or so forth as well! It was kind of an issue the last time I played around with undeath? ...So yeah. It shouldn't come up nearly as much this time because of the difference in character tone, but I want to be prepared. <3

Danny Fenton | Danny Phantom

Young Danny Fenton, he was just 14, when his parents built a very strange machine, designed to view a world unseen. When it didn't quite work, his folks they just quit, then Danny took a look inside of it. There was a great big flash, everything just changed, his molecules got all rearranged. When he first woke up, he realized he had snow-white hair and glowing green eyes. He could walk through walls, disappear, and fly.

And he proceeded to use those powers, and the ones that later developed, to defend his town, until TRIDENT tried to get ahold of him, forcing Danny to join the Trailblazers in order to keep them from trying to capture him and harm his family overtly.
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: You are particulary interested in paranormal science, are a ghost, keep tabs on the Trailblazers membership, or if you were paying attention to the news several months ago when Amity Park temporarily vanished off the face of the Earth
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: You've been with the Trailblazers for at least the past two months, or are from Amity Park or the Ghost Zone
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: No superhuge plans at the moment, other than he's already on TRIDENT's watchlist. Also, the Ghost Zone, a dimension filled with ghosts, is being brought in as a location.
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: Nothing I can think of, although asking me before anything potentially problematic would be nice. I'm also kind of a major Danny/Sam shipper, so any potential romantic relationships /could/ happen, but they'd be shortlived.
ANYTHING ELSE: Danny is kind of an ass on occasion, and also makes terrible, terrible puns. Sometimes these things intersect.

EUGÈNE "EUSINE" EUSTIS/THE MYSTICALMAN
Eusine (as he likes to be called) is an illusionist-slash-wizard with an ego the size of a small planetoid despite having powers that can be summarized as "can make your glassware fall over and also sparkles a lot". His greatest dream is teaming up with MAGICAL CREATURES OF WONDER (especially unicorns, as he considers them to be the best mythical creatures EVER) in order to STRIKE DOWN EVIL, because he failed a self-awareness check and thinks he's a ~dashing protagonist~ instead of the butt monkey secondary character he really is. He's also looking for his wizard Indiana Jones grandpa who disappeared under mysterious circumstances a couple of years ago, which is part of why he's now in LA.

YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF THIS CHARACTER IF: you know about minor foreign superheroes for whatever reason. He hasn't really done anything noteworthy but he's flashy and likes putting on a show, so it's entirely possible he gained some minor fame from that. He definitely ended up on a "top ten most ridiculous superhero outfits" list more than once.
He also probably wrote AT LEAST one terrible self-insert fanfiction. At least. Are shitty art tumblrs a thing? Because his "artwork" totally ends up there. All his creative endeavours are hilariously bad, you know the internet loves that kind of stuff.
YOU MAY KNOW THIS CHARACTER IF: you frequent the same kind of internet forums/websites, probably. Real-life isn't out of the question but up until very recently he was on a completely different continent, so you can see how that'd be a problem. But yeah, he's definitely active on a couple of websites (mostly ones about magical creatures, where he's probably known as "that dude who won't shut up about unicorns no matter what the forum is about", but he also has Opinions about stuff like games/books/movies/the lack of appreciation for capes and glitter in the modern superhero world.) You might have even argued with him because he's one of those people who get horribly offended and write gigantic TL;DR posts when someone is wrong on the internet.
(Everyone who doesn't share his point of view is wrong on the internet.)
PLANS & IDEAS FOR THIS CHARACTER: His parents financially support him for now (magic gigs don't exactly pay the bills and neither does superheroing) but it's probably going to end at some point, possibly if he gets hurts and they flip out. So he miiight or might not try to crash at someone's place to avoid spending money on rent/hotels. You know. Just temporarily. You'll barely notice him. [starts watching tv with the sound on at 3am]
But yeah, gotta make some friends first. I'm down with anything CR-wise, really. Eusine can be kinda rude and obnoxious so first impressions might range somewhere between "what a tool" and "what a MASSIVE TOOL", but he's definitely not a bad guy and if you're his friend you can be sure he'll have your back.
Don't ask him to stop putting his things everywhere like he owns the place though, that's too hard for him.
Else it might be pretty interesting if someone more experienced helped him with the whole "not sucking at being a wizard" thing, but he'll need to have the realization that maybe his magic isn't up to snuff before his pride will let him accept help. Because his magic is totally amazing. You're just jealous you don't sparkle.
THINGS YOU'D PREFER TO AVOID: can't really think of anything right now.
ANYTHING ELSE: He actually doesn't have much of an accent but he tends to play it up because ladies love the suave frenchman thing. (no. no they don't. please stop.)
