here is how to CR meme

i am definitely open to karkat having a ridiculous crush on cynthia, if she is his ridiculous crush type

and idk how secret he keeps his romance movie watching, but if she's ever caught him, she has totally offered to watch one with him because she LOVES romance movies

its not secret at all, he probably does it in the common area and demands people's assistance in explaining what is going on

if she loves romance movies he loves her

hahaha karkat....cynthia will explain the intricacies of human courtship but she requires an explanation of alien courtship in return (she doesn't know what she's getting into)

she probably thinks at first that he is just a grumpy and rude space alien but then she finds out that he has really good taste in movies and he is actually pleasant to be around sometimes. WHO WOULD HAVE KNOWN

especially since Cynthia's a relatively recent addition to the team, so he won't even struggle with English that much while explaining it to her

she... probs is his ridiculous crush type tho lmao. especially if they've got in an argument or two despite generally getting on, because that's... how karkat do... which I can see having happened, since they're both pretty stubborn and karkat is prone to saying casually derisive stuff about human cultural values (although a bit less so than he was when he first arrived..)

HAHA OH NO...she probably would be too interested to really notice how long he'd be going on about it. she'd really struggle with the concept of a kismesis ("but aren't you supposed to defeat your enemy?? instead of dating them??") but it is all very intriguing either way. of course then shed ask about what HEROES are like on his planet, because that is the most important

yeah i can also see them having gotten into a couple arguments, since there are plenty of things cynthia, at least, is stubborn and defensive about because they're important to her or to someone she knows.

karkat informs her there are no super heroes on alternia because trolls are expected to take care of themselves

they probably get into an argument about that

god yeah she thinks that is awful and ridiculous and she does not hesitate to voice that opinion. which is funny because that sort of casual rudeness about cultural values is something she has almost certainly gotten mad at karkat for, oops
